We created Iluminance with a simple idea in mind: healthcare should feel personal.

Behind the clinic are Vânia Cardoso and Jérôme Borowiak, two founders with different backgrounds and a shared appreciation for quality, attention to detail and the importance of feeling genuinely cared for.

From the beginning, our ambition was to create more than a place for aesthetic treatments.

We wanted to create an environment where medical expertise, advanced technology and a thoughtful approach to each individual could come together naturally.

Vânia Cardoso

Co-Founder & Managing Director

Vânia’s vision for Iluminance has always been closely connected to the way people experience themselves — their confidence, wellbeing and the relationship they have with their own body as they move through different stages of life.

Her professional journey began in Brazil and, over the years, developed into a broader interest in wellbeing, lifestyle, aesthetics and the human side of care.

Today, Vânia leads the direction of Iluminance, shaping the clinic’s identity, patient experience, brand and long-term development.

Much of her focus goes into the details that patients may not always see: the environment we create, the people we choose to work with, the technologies we bring into the clinic and the standards we want Iluminance to represent.

For Vânia, the experience matters just as much as the treatment itself.

Every person who walks through our doors should feel listened to, respected and treated as an individual.

Jérôme Borowiak

Co-Founder & Strategic Director

Jérôme brings more than 20 years of international experience in the medical aesthetics and advanced technology industry.

His career includes senior positions with leading global companies including Galderma, Allergan and Cynosure.

During more than a decade with Galderma, Jérôme worked closely with the aesthetic medicine community across Europe, contributing to physician education, events and training programmes in areas such as injectable aesthetics.

His experience with Allergan and later Cynosure gave him a broad understanding of the evolution of aesthetic medicine and the technologies behind it, from injectables and collagen stimulation to advanced laser and energy-based platforms.

At Iluminance, Jérôme brings this experience to the strategic development of the business, with a particular focus on technology, innovation, industry standards and the long-term direction of the clinic.

Together, Vânia and Jérôme have built Iluminance around the belief that choosing the right people, technology and standards matters.
